Note: Advanced weight for men is 53lb. and women 35lb. This mentally and physically challenging workout comes from Paul Smith, former NFL player and current owner of Lifted CrossFit in El Paso, TX. Paul has finished 4th place 4 years in a row in his CrossFit Games Region. Based on his current training regime, Paul is going all the way to the Games this year. Paul and his gym will be supporting the upcoming Infant Swim Resource (ISR) Project that will be taking place in El Paso, similar to the project our gym supported last summer.

Reminder the last class today is from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Tonight, our gym will be supporting the first CrossFit Pleasure Point in-house Throwdown for the Barker Family. This “Throwdown For A Cause” will help enable the Barker’s mission to provide education for children in Africa. Everyone is welcome to participate in the competition tonight. The gym will be providing a free BBQ. Raffle tickets will be on sale at the gym all day.

The next CrossFit Pleasure Point Olympic Lifting Seminar with Coach Jeff Butler is scheduled for Sunday, April 13, 2014, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. This Seminar will focus on the Snatch technique and progressions.
