Deadlift, 7,5,3,1 (Tempo Training – 5 Second Descent)
Bench Press, 7,5,3,1 (Tempo Training – 5 Second Descent)
Cash out with a 1:00 maximum calorie sprint on the Assault Bike
Note: On todays session, athletes will spend approximately 12 minutes working through their Deadlift, then 12 minutes working through their Bench Press. We will record weight at all repetitions. Remember that on tempo, the eccentric phase of the lift (lowering) is there the most strength is gained, therefore the tempo is more important than the amount of weight on the bar!
