“Saved By The Barbell”
Tempo Deadlift, 5,3,1,1,1 (10 second tempo descent)
Rest as needed then,
3 rounds for max reps of:
1 minute of burpees
1 minute of wall-ball shots (20lb. / 14lb.)
1 minute of deadlifts (75lb. / 55lb.)
1 minute of hang power cleans (75lb. / 55lb.)
Rest 1 minute and repeat for 3 rounds (or more depending on class size)
Note: This is a slightly modified version of a famous CrossFit.com workout and it’s a good one! Todays session operators much like “Fight Gone Bad” where athletes keep a “running total” of repetitions as they move through each station. Athletes can pick their start station but must honor the order of rotation. The combination of the slow tempo work with the speed of the metabolic session is awesome.
