20 Alternating Weighted Dumbbell Lunges (10 Each Leg /// 35lb. / 25lb.)
20 Dumbbell Push Jerks (Same load)
Run 200 Meters
20 Pull-ups (Advanced Athletes use Chest to Bar OR 7 Bar Muscle-ups)
Note: Todays triplet is meant to be hit fast and hard. Ensure the Dumbell (or Kettlebell) load allows for consecutive repetitions on the first round. Later rounds can be partitioned as necessary.
Danny is Athlete Of The Week!
Congratulations to Danny who was recognized as Athlete (and Coach) of the Week at CrossFit Amundson. Danny is one of the most talented gymnastics coaches in the County of Santa Cruz, and is highly sought after for his technical prowess in gymnastics, yet for his ability to simplify the progressions to all levels of ability. Also a power-house Athlete, Danny frequently leads from the front during the Saturday Advanced Athletes Class. Danny and Hylie recently teamed up and co-taught an incredible “Nuance of Movement” seminar at our gym, and the feedback and praise was through the roof. Congratulations Danny on all your success, and thank you for sharing your expertise and passion for gymnastics and human-movement with our gym.
