Olympic Lifting Skill Development: USAW Snatch Progressions.
Every 2:00 for 12:00 (6 Rounds)
Power Snatch from Power Position, 1 Repetition (with 1 Overhead Squat)
Power Snatch from Above Knee Position, 1 Repetitions (with 1 Overhead Squat)
Power Snatch from Floor, 1 Repetition (with 1 Overhead Squat)
Rest as needed then,
As Many Rounds As Possible in 8:00 of,
Dumbbell Snatch, 10 Repetitions (Alternating / Up to 50lb. / 35lb.)
30 Double Unders (or 50 single jumps)
Note: Todays session is a perfect compliment of skill development and training. For athletes still developing the Snatch and Overhead Squat, keep the weight light and focus on technique. Intermediate to advanced athletes should add weight every 2 minutes.
Dan Brule’ – At Our Gym on Thursday!
Dan Brule, world renowned breath mastery instructor and a “Mentor to Mentors” will be teaching a workshop at our Krav Maga studio on Thursday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Please check with Coach if you are interested in attending and in need of a scholarship! This is a life changing opportunity to learn the fundamentals of breath work from a true master “Rabbi” teacher. Please note both Bag Class and Yoga will be cancelled on Thursday for this workshop.
