Please join us for Open Gym today from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Coach Katherine “Kat” Weybright will be at the gym and available to help with programming a workout or developing CrossFit foundational technique. From 12:00 to 1:00 PM, Coach Dorie will be teaching our Coaches Hour workshop. The skill of the day will be the Kipping Pull-up.
Andrew Weybright is a young man of immense strength, courage, leadership and compassion. Andrew routinely leads from the front during the CrossFit Amundson workouts, and is pound-for-pound one of the strongest Athletes in our gym. When Andrew is not crushing the workout, he serves as an On-Call Firefighter in Santa Cruz County. Thank you Andrew for your service both inside the gym and in our community. You are a true warrior!
As the CrossFit Amundson Yoga and Mobility Program continues to grow, our goal is to create a context for the Warrior Poses we use during the class. Specifically, the intention of the program is to allow the strengthening of the mind, body and spirit in a seamlessly integrated one hour class. On the CrossFit Amundson YouTube Channel, Greg Amundson will be teaching these principles on a weekly basis. We encourage you to watch the videos on Sunday, and then apply the principles, techniques, ethics and lessons during the following week of both CrossFit, Krav Maga and Yoga Training.
