Gymnastics Skill Development:
Three Rounds of “Pull-up Assessment”
Weighted Pull-ups (15lb. / 35lb. Dumbell)
Strict Pull-ups
Kipping Pull-up
Rest as needed then,
Ten Rounds for Time:
Deadlift, 15 Repetitions (135lb. / 95lb.)
Hand Release Push-up, 15 Repetitions
Note: For weighted Pull-ups place Dumbbell between the legs above crossed ankles and jettison the Dumbbell after weighted repetitions are complete, then continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes termination of a set. How many people can Rx’ the timed evolution, and bring it home in 10:00 or less? Be sure to watch the VIDEO of Coach demonstrating the requirements for the Pull-up test!
